Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla essence
3 cups plain flour
½ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. Maxigenes Full Cream Milk (premade)
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup white chocolate chips
¾ cup candied cherries
Method
Preheat oven to 180° Celsius.
Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars in a medium bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla essence and mix. Once well-combined add in the milk.
Sift the flour, salt and baking soda into the butter mixture.
Combine the white chocolate chips, nuts and dried cherries into the mixture, stirring until blended.
Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet spacing them well apart to allow room for the biscuits to spread slightly.
Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on a wire rack and once cooled, store in an airtight container.
