Pasteurisation Process
With our Maxigenes milk powders, we currently use fresh milk in all our products and then use a pasteurisation and spray drying process to produce high quality milk for your family to enjoy. Spray drying is used to remove the water content and turn the liquid into powder. During the process of pasteurisation our milk is expose to high temperatures to make the milk safe to consume.
With high temperatures a small amount of milk powder particles may become heated and becomes brown or tan in appearance as a result. This change in appearance of milk particles does not influence the product quality and can still dissolve in water and your drink will still have the same creamy taste.
